Jen Turner

About Jen Turner

Jen is a Rural Financial Counsellor based in Toowoomba. She supports Darling Downs primary producers in Toowoomba and surrounding areas.

Jen joined the RFCS Southern Queensland in February 2019. Based in the Toowoomba Office, she previously worked for the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) for 12 years and has a detailed understanding of the types of financial assistance that are available to farmers.

Having grown up on a farm in a rural community and now owning a small beef cattle enterprise with her husband, Jen has both an understanding of the challenges of the agricultural industry and an empathy for those making a living off the land.

Jen has a Bachelor of Rural Science, Diploma in Agriculture, a Certificate in Business and Financial Analysis and most recently acquired her Diploma in Community Services (Financial Counselling).

She works alongside a team of Financial Counsellors located throughout Southern Queensland, jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments.
