About the RFCS Southern Queensland
The Rural Financial Counselling Service (RFCS) Southern Queensland is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the sustainability of primary producers and their communities throughout Southern Queensland.
With funding from the Australian Government and Queensland Government, we deliver:
- Rural Financial Counselling Service Program (delivered consecutively since 2006)
- Business Wellness Coaching Program
- other support programs across the region.
We provide primary producers with the tools and knowledge that encourages improvements in their financial situation as well as their personal health and wellbeing. Above all, helping primary producers plan and achieve a better future.
Our service area encompasses 34 Local Government Areas throughout Southern Queensland. We support primary producers from Goondiwindi in the south, up to Livingstone and out west as far as Bulloo.
Our Rural Financial Counsellors and Business Wellness Coaches are embedded within the communities that they support. This enables them to have a first-hand understanding of the challenges being faced by their primary producer clients.
