Rural Financial Counselling Service Southern Queensland (RFCSSQ) has today announced a free monthly webinar series designed for farmers to get ahead of emerging local and global challenges on the land and be better prepared for the future.

The Get Ahead Of It webinar series will offer practical, up to the minute information and guidance to primary producers, delivered by trusted experts including local Rural Financial Counsellors (RFCs).

Get Ahead of It aims to help primary producers to do exactly that. To give them the confidence to seek the help that is available before financial, business or personal pressures risks becoming a significant crisis.

The webinar series will feature topical issues each month and invite industry experts to deliver practical tips and tools about ways to combat emerging challenges and opportunities. Participants will be able to watch either live or on demand, with interactive Q&A sessions during the live broadcasts.

Business & Rural Solutions Chief Executive Officer Ross Leggett said the webinar series will be practical, primary producer friendly.

“We know from our people on the ground that we need to find new and practical ways to share information and connect with people on the land to match their busy lives.

“Our dedicated team of RFCs have a proud history of supporting producers across Southern Queensland. They have spoken to farmers, and this lunchtime webinar series is a welcome announcement for time poor primary producers.

“The Get Ahead of It webinar series will reinforce that our RFCs are a trusted source of information in their communities offering easy to access, confidential and impartial support that fosters trust and conversations beyond each monthly webinar.
